First of all... Graphic are the same than xbox 360 (at least really close)
There is not many interesting games avaible. The only great thing about the PS3 is the blue-ray.

I purchased the ps3 and I love it. I know many ppl complain about the lack of games compared to the xbox 360 but the ps3 is amazing. The games are great, graphics are top notch and I would recommend this system over any other. The best part is I have a blue ray player with a video game console in 1 ... go buy a blue ray player it will cost you $200-300 that is on the low side ... purchase the ps3.
