Product Description Dusty drapes and ancient chandeliers dot the spooky Margrave Manor house. As Edwina Margrave, you must find your grandfather who's been missing for ten years. Your only clue to his whereabouts is a strange door with an odd puzzle to unlock. In each room, collect hidden objects and view your strange medley in the collection room. | Customer Reviews: Repetitive July 20, 2009 P. Linnemoller (Calgary) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
"The Secret of Margrave Manor" is a hidden object game that is quite repetitive in terms of the objects that need to be found. This can be good because it helps the player find the objects more quickly as the game progresses. However, it does become rather tedious looking for more or less the same things even though they might be located in different places in the scene. The game lists 3 or 4 items at a time that need to be found. I would have preferred to see the whole list at once. There is a 15 minute time limit for each level which I found to be more than enough time. Bonus hints are given every three minutes. I found it necessary to use the hints at times because some objects were so small that they were difficult to see even when the hint was used. I thought the rooms had a cluttered look to them. The sound effects were good; not overly used to become annoying. I only finished the game because I was interested in the story line. "The Secret of Margrave Manor" would be a game to play if you could only spend short periods of time playing rather than trying to complete it in one session.
